I just wanted to express my appreciation to everyone who supported my campaign and worked so hard these past months!
We had a tough race. We built a campaign from the ground up in just over 13 months! We ran a lean, frugal campaign and we truly could not have done it without the support of each one of you!
You passed petitions and collected hundreds of signatures. You walked in 16 parades, and handed out half a ton of parade candy and 12,000 nail files. You put up thousands of signs. You wrote and mailed out thousands of postcards and letters. You walked door to door and handed out nearly 10,000 walk cards! And you provided me with thoughtful counsel and guidance. I am deeply appreciative of all you have done for this campaign and the issues in which we believe!
Now it's back to Springfield to work on pension and Medicaid reform, on getting a balanced budget, and on helping turn our state around to one of which we can be proud! Thank you!
